Fashion Design & Modeling for Teens – Where Style Meets Confidence

Our Fashion Design & Modeling class invites teens to step into the world of creativity, self-expression, and professional development through fashion. This dynamic, hands-on course combines the art of clothing design with the poise and presence of the runway, giving students a full-spectrum experience of the fashion industry.

👗 Fashion Design
Students will learn the fundamentals of fashion design—from concept to creation. They'll explore:

• Sketching & Illustration – Learn how to bring ideas to life on paper using industry-standard techniques.

• Textiles & Fabrics – Understand the different materials and how they impact design and wearability.

• Pattern Making & Sewing – Gain practical skills in garment construction using both hand-sewing and machine techniques.

• Design Process – Create mood boards, collections, and individual pieces that reflect personal style and current trends.

• Sustainability & Innovation – Discuss eco-conscious fashion and how design can impact the world.

💃 Modeling & Runway Training
In the modeling portion of the course, students build the confidence and skills to present themselves and their designs with professionalism and flair. They’ll learn:

• Runway Walking & Posing – Develop posture, poise, and presence for the catwalk.

• Stage Presence & Confidence – Build self-esteem and body awareness in a supportive environment.

• Photo Shoots & Headshots – Learn how to work in front of a camera, understand angles, and receive professional headshots.

• Branding & Presentation – Explore how to present yourself as a model or designer, including social media presence and networking.

🎓 Real-World Experience
Taught by experienced industry professionals, this class gives teens exposure to real fashion and modeling practices. Students will have opportunities to participate in community showcases, pop-up fashion shows, and portfolio-building projects.
